Have you been over to Mum and Dad's at all this week? Or heard from Rhiannon? If not I'll head over and check on Mum and Dad and then go see how Rhiannon is doing when I'm done here at the office. I just want to make sure everything is all right with them. No one has any reason to bother them, but after everything that's happened lately, I'd sleep better tonight knowing that everyone was safe at home. I'll check on their wards too while I'm there. Want me to check on yours at all?

I might be a wee bit late to my own party as the DMLE is still a bit of a zoo, but the food is there and just needs to be heated up, and you can feel free to break into my liquor supply. Just someone pour me a lot of something, or make me something really strong. I need it after today.

Sooooo I figure that it's no fun spending Monday evening alone, so I thought I'd invite those of you who don't want to take part in lovey-dovey Valentine's Day festivities to my place for food and drink. And well, I suppose I won't exclude those of you lovebirds in the Order from coming if you don't have other plans. I don't want to hurt any feelings. I get off work at around five in the evening barring any disasters to which the DMLE might need to respond, so maybe we'll say the party starts around seven.

And for those note-takers among you, while in Diagon Alley Monday I happened to see Narcissa Malfoy out doing some shopping. Unfortunately I don't have anything very exciting to report. She looked to be picking up supplies and making arrangements for a party of some sort. She's probably throwing some snobby purist type shindig to which I am truly sad I was not invited. In any case, all seems normal (from what I understand) on the Malfoy front. Is anyone actually following her husband around? I can't keep track of these things.

I don't know if everyone saw, but anyone who wants to come over to my place late Sunday morning will get breakfast and the chance to throw hexes at things. I figure we could use a bit of stress relief and maybe some food that is not alcohol or take away. I promise my cooking won't kill anyone is edible and possibly even tasty.
